Hi! I’m Kristin, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in South Carolina. Prior to beginning my career in the mental health field, I spent 6 years in law enforcement. There’s a special place in my heart for helping first responders, and their spouses, navigate the challenges associated with the demands of the profession.
I take a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for each of my clients to feel validated and supported. With that being said, I am not the therapist to sit back quietly. I am direct and I challenge my clients to engage in the self-reflection necessary to see real change in their lives.

I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with empathy and understanding. Before transitioning to this career in mental health, I spent 12 years in the wellness industry, where I developed a strong foundation in helping people achieve personal growth, well-being, and resilience. My background in fitness and nutrition allows me to bring a holistic approach to the therapy room—understanding the deep connection between mind and body.
My approach is client-centered and individualized, always ensuring that each therapeutic plan is tailored to the unique needs and goals of my clients. I offer a safe, empathetic space where clients can explore the “messy” parts of life—those moments of struggle, uncertainty, and change. In my free time, I enjoy staying active and exploring outdoor activities, as well as continuing my personal journey of growth and learning.

Hi, I'm Dan Brees. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker - Clinical Practice. I have spent the past three years providing therapy services to children and families dealing with challenging situations. Before that, I spent more than two decades in the computer and IT industry. I have lived on both US coasts, and several places in between, as well as spending time on three different continents. I have gone through many changes in my life and I believe that periods of change can be turbulent and stressful times for all of us. I also believe that these challenges can lead to exceptional growth and new opportunities.
I focus on providing support through the many changes and struggles we experience. Whether facing the chaos of adolescence, the challenge of finding or redefining your identity, the struggles of grief or trauma, or any of life's other roller-coaster rides. I am just as happy to listen as I am to talk, and I invite you to decide what direction each of our sessions will take.

With over 30 years of experience working with individuals, families and couples I have developed my own unique approach to therapy. I work hard to meet people where they are in the journey of healing. My belief is that this journey is a lifelong process and there is often a time in our lives when people need to speak to someone who can help them process whatever they are experiencing with no judgement.
My overall approach is to help people become the directors of their life and remove the blocks that prevent them from achieving their goals. These blocks could be narratives they tell themselves, trauma, or simply learned behaviors. I help people find the “whys” to their behavior/ thinking and once that “why” is uncovered, to help find a pathway to healing.
I believe every session I have with a client should be value added, meaning giving them things to address between our sessions. I also believe that clients own their sessions, meaning they can modify what we are working on if something comes up that needs immediate action.
