Group Therapy
Group therapy offers a unique and supportive environment where you can connect with others who face similar challenges. Group sessions provide you the opportunity to share your experiences, gain new perspectives, and learn coping strategies to implement in your day to day life. Group therapy not only promotes a sense of community but is also a much more affordable option than individual therapy sessions.

Yes! Group therapy can be much more cost effective than individual therapy sessions. The way in which my groups are structured provides clients with 12 hours of therapy (over an 8-week time period) for $360 whereas the fee for 12 hours of individual therapy would be $1,200.
-
Possibly! I am considered an out-of-network provider which means your ability to be reimbursed by your insurance company will depend on your out-of-network benefits. I would be happy to schedule you for a free phone consultation where I can help you determine your insurance eligibility.

All group members are expected to respect the confidentiality of the group. Prior to the start of the group, all group members are asked to sign a consent form agreeing not to divulge any information outside of the group. As the group leader, I cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality (since I cannot control the behaviors of group members outside of group meetings). However, group members are typically very respectful of one another and do not create confidentiality issues. In addition, the groups are held in a virtual setting, allowing participants to only share a first name or nickname to avoid any confidentiality issues pertaining to the identity of a group member.
